Irazú i Cartago / Irazú and Cartago

Aquest cap de setmana vam intentar veure el volca (no tinc accent obert ni c trencada, sorry) Irazú. Aquest cop no vam tenir tanta sort com amb el volca Poás, no vam veure res...i si no mireu les fotos:

This weekend we tried to see the Irazú volcano. This time we were not as lucky as with Poás volcano, we saw nothing...just check the pics:

Aquí representa que hauríeu de veure el crater.../ Here you are suposed to see the crater...

Després vam baixar cap a Cartago, la 4a gran ciutat del Valle Central. Hi ha com 15 esglésies, pero la important és la que veieu a sota: la gent entra a l'església de genolls, i cada any hi ha una romeria el 2 d'Agost on la gent va caminant des de la seva ciutat fins a l'església. L'altre foto mostra l'església més important fins al 1910, any en que un terratremol la va destrossar. Ara és un jardí tancat pero molt bonic. Aixo és tot el que es pot veure a Cartago practicament.

After that we went to Cartago, the 4th big city of the Central Valley. There are like 15 churches, but the most important one is the one you see below: people come in walking with their knees, and every 2nd of August people walk from their cities to this church. The other picture is the most important church until 1910, when an earthquake destroeid it. Now it is closed with a beautiful garden inside. That is all you can see in Cartago.
